Evaluation: I contacted Grade Potential and my son started in August 2014 with private lessons. I bought a parcel agreement with the intention that all unused hours would be refunded if my son arrived at the place where he was supposed to be and overtime was not necessary. I even researched the rank potential and I heard testimony where people said that their child got it after so many hours and the rank potential was very concentrated customer service and reimbursed for unused hours. I contacted Grade Potential at the number listed for the Greater Phoenix Office, and I spoke with [redacted]. I explained [redacted] [redacted] that my son was on the right track and on the honorary role, so he would no longer need services and I wanted to know how to get a refund for unused hours. [redacted] told me that they didn`t pay for unused hours and that the hours never went, I told him that my son was going to college, so that this service would not even be an option for him anymore. She told me they weren`t paying me back, and I told her it hadn`t been explained to me, and I signed something that said that. She said no, my verbal was permission. I spent seven and a half hours, and my son goes to Jackson University, and he is my only child, so there is no other child who can use the services. That equates to $60 an hour, for a total value of $420, trying to keep the grade potential of my money. I would never have bought a package including that I needed to use or waste the hours. Coveted bill: I want to be able to honor his promise to offer customer service and refund my money for the 7 1/4 hours unused, since my son passes his degree and goes to Jackson, MS for college and services are not offered in this state.
Business Response: As indicated by the company. I`m sorry that this person misunderstood the way our discounted hourly plans work. I went back to our registered voice authorization (because she called her credit card) to make sure there was no error. We offer reduced blocks of remedial courses when our customers force them to buy certain amounts of hours exactly as something else in bulk, and we declare that we do not offer refunds on hours of mass discounts. Regardless of that, I am happy to refund their unused part of the hours in this case for any misunderstanding. She also seems to mistakenly remember her sessions and prices, since our undiscounted price is $64 per hour (not $60) and she used 4.25 hours with her tutor named Nathan and an hour with her tutor named Seth. That`s 5.25 hours at 64 $US for a total of $336. She paid $648, so I`m happy to pay back $312 today. If she has any questions, I am willing to send the registered authorization for fees and hours by email. In fact, on the recording, she had asked us to do it, in increments, unlike everyone else, at the same time, which is our usual practice, and out of courtesy, we agreed. One way or another, I hope she and her son enjoyed working with our tutors, thank you! Retrospective: My son had a support meeting and we were very pleased with the tutor.
The problem was that we paid for 3 hours, and we only needed the first one. I have sent many requests to be refunded for the remaining two hours – a total of $136.00 I have no solution for my application and no refund. Garrett was the first person I spoke to/e-mail during this trial, and I was assured that if I was not satisfied, I would be reimbursed. If I talk with [redacted] to pay for the sessions – again guaranteed that I would be reimbursed for all unused hours, $68.00 per hour.
